Though thoughtful, bold, and always curious, Emma's blog is a space for those who love exploring and questioning.

About

I used to have a blog. For years it was my creative outlet, my way of making friends, and of course some spare cash. But then the internet changed, or maybe I changed. Instead of bringing connection to the faceless crowd, instead it brough out “well this dosn’t directly apply to me-ism”. Which I found quite frankly exhausting, so my previous blog was deleted forever and I breathed a sigh of relief to be living an entierly offline life, no longer obsessing about stats and platforms and posing schedules.

But I changed to, I found a husband and had babies – my literal body was rewired as it grew tiny humans and then again when they popped out furious and amazing. While the sea of motherhood is all consuming, I am still me in the boat floating in the middle of it. I need a creative outlet, I need a space which I can think full and complete thoughts.

And since we are thinking full and complete thoughts, I am totally pissed off and nihilistic about the AI world we find ourselves living in. Which means that this imperfect and human blog will be writted by an imperfect human not an LLM – think more along the lines of rants and spelling mistakes rather than hallucinations and poorly interpreted prompts. In the name of clarity, my english teachers at school were a bit shit (we watched Batman a lot) so when I get confused by punctuation I use a hyphen (-), this is separate and distinct from the em (—) dash which is the scurge of the AI multiverse.

So here I am. I hope you are here to. Its nice when the void sceams back.
